Greetings from the Bay Area of California! My name is Kelsey Dunn of KCD Events and it is my absolute pleasure to welcome you into my world of creating events, meetings, and experiences. 

Through my 6+ years of experience working with enterprise corporations, event agencies, and volunteering with nonprofit organizations, I have never been more sure of anything than I am about my career in the events industry. My dad always said “If you love what you do, you will never work a day in your life.” And let me tell you- I have never met a human who loves what they do and cares about helping their clients more than he does. Sidebar (and also very important): my brother and I are insanely fortunate to have two parents who have worked their tails off in order to build their empires and legacies. 

Meeting and Event Management- from early ideations with stakeholders, to collaboration cross-departmentally and with vendor partners, to project management, to onsite execution, to post-event debriefs- is exhilarating. One of the reasons I fell in love with this career is through experiencing the kind of impact these events have. Meetings and events create monumental changes to individuals, companies, and the world. Whether it is the unveiling of a new medical cure, an all-hands meeting to launch the product that will change a company’s trajectory, a sporting event that includes individuals of varying abilities, or the inauguration of a world leader- all events create change. Maya Angelou once said “I’ve learned that people will forget what you said, people will forget what you did, but people will never forget how you made them feel.” I have the joy of working in an industry where we create meetings, events, and experiences that will forever make an impact in this world.
